Här kommer recept på ett par av de ljuvliga rawfoodbollar som vi brukar bjuda på på I AM YOGA. Många har frågat efter recept så här har ’kocken’ skrivit ner dom:
Cashew nuts 5 dl
Maca powder 4-5 full teaspoon
Fresh dates 16-18
Coconut oil – you will need the oil if you are making balls in a food processor at least 2 table spoons, add more if necessary ( in case you want to add, add little by little)
Coconut flakes 5 dl
Vanilla bean 1 (cut in length and scrape the inside with back of a knife and use it, do NOT add the whole bean) (You could also use raw organic vanilla powder)
Crush the cashew nuts in a crushing bowl until it turns to a paste that looks like tahini (the cashew nut paste is grounded at the bottom and its oil is separated and stays on the top). It will take around 15 minutes. Mash the dates with a fork in another bowl, add vanilla, the maca powder, 2/3 coconut flakes, and cashew nuts together with its oil to the dates. Mix with the same fork just enough to mix everything together (do not mix too much, the cashew nut paste can get VERYY hard if it is mixed with sugar, i.e. anything sweet such as syrup, dates, honey ,… ). Make the balls in your hands and roll them in coconut flakes and set aside. They are now ready to be eaten.
2 dl cashew nuts (soak the cashew nuts at least two hours before making these delights, get rid of the water and use soaked cashew nuts)
1.5 dl almond flour
1 dl coconut flakes
2 table spoons coconut oil
3 table spoons honey
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and work it until it comes together as dough. Spread a THICK layer of dough on your kitchen table to cover it with topping.
12 fresh dates
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Juice of a half lemon
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and work it. It must make sticky soft dough. In case you need, add water little by little up to 2 table spoons (not more). Spread the dough on the body of delights, cover it with a sift of raw cocoa powder and cut in a shape that you are willing to.
